Give the request a purpose
Ask for one outcome at a time. “Find the discussion about the sample project last week” provides more direction than “What happened?” Add a person, topic, or date when relevant.
Use navigation to learn
Requests such as opening a supported workspace or explaining a routine’s setup can help you find the right control. Check the speech and AI tool directory for the capabilities described by the current app catalog.
Name the intended action
If you want a change, state the object and the change clearly. Brightness, teleprompter controls, show controls, and routine actions have different inputs and constraints. Read any confirmation before proceeding.
Speech needs its own setup
Check Listening & Voice, the microphone, and activation settings. A microphone that hears you does not prove that the correct command path is active. Test with a harmless navigation or display request first.
Know which assistant you are using
In-app Sybil can use the tools and context permitted by your configuration. The website assistant explains public product documentation; it cannot search your private conversations, execute routines, or control your devices.
Try it with a sample
- Start with a harmless navigation request.
- Ask a focused question about a retained sample.
- Check the result and any proposed action before confirming.
